Service is for those looking to remove their piercing permanently. If you need it temporarily removed for surgery, mri or special events, plastic or glass retainers are recommended to ensure your piercing doesn’t close. Please reach out directly if you are wanting to switch to a retainer.

Removal of a surface anchor, no cutting or slicing is typically needed this service. It is recommended to remove surface anchors if you are noticing it is beginning to reject to minimize scarring. You are also able to remove surface anchors if it they are healed and healthy but you just feel its time to retire the piercing.

this appointment is to check up and possibly downsize a piercing that is at least 4-8 weeks old. a check up is recommended for me to see how well your piercing is healing and to trouble shoot if things aren’t healing well and downsize if it is going well since your swelling will have resided. a downsizing after 4-8 weeks is mainly required for ear cartilage, earlobes, bridges, and nostrils. downsizing for lips is required after 2-3 weeks. please specify in the notes what piercing you are downsizing for. Downsizing is free if you were pierced with standard surgical steel jewelry. If you upgraded to titanium the cost of downsizing is the price of the post (back piece) only, theres is no additional service cost. For flat back labrets price is $5, for all other post types price is $10.

This appointment is to troubleshoot any issues you are having with your piercings. These include irritation bumps, excessive swelling, jewelry embedding, rejection etc. Please specify what piercing you are troubleshooting for and whether i pierced you or not. Troubleshooting/check up visits are free— if we end up removing or changing your jewelry the service is $10 plus cost of jewelry if you are purchasing from Clovis Ink.
